Taylor Swift's first hits came out when I was in high school. Those were pretty good but I've never really been impressed since. I mean she's certainly not the only artist that made her best music early on. A lot of artists make great stuff early on trying to establish themselves in the music industry and once they've made it big they stop putting the same effort in or simply can't find the magic to keep making great music.

I guess I just think her voice and writing combo isn't very impressive considering her popularity and following, but I guess it's the writing that sets her apart.
