You're basically stuck. I would check what is the difference on those other
estimates. Does the shop just have higher prices on the parts? I've seen an estimate be $700 more because the shop didn't know how to shop around for a cheaper part.

Is it the labor rates that are significantly different? Sometimes a shop will just say they're charging $90 an hour when the going rate in the area is 60 or 65.

Bottom line to me, why is there such a large difference? How many labor hours are on one estimate versus the other? What is the labor rate? What's the difference in parts prices?
