time limit to play. The 4 years was tied to the time to get a degree but now they are changing teams on an annual basis the degree or time frame don't make any sense. Not that they were really students before but now they really are not. Seeing all the UK players leave and most of the Duke players it is beyond the wild west. But then we have an odd rule that you can only do it for 4 years which make people less loyal because those are the only have 4 years they can make this kind of money. So they kind of have to take the best deal each year. There are then agents getting paid under the table to push kids to certain schools.
Was super excited about the KY hire but seeing what is happening this year not sure why any NBA coach would go to college bball. As a fan last year was amazing but if we lose Hall and Saunders there really isn't a team concept. I don't blame them but people are going to stop being interested if kids really change teams each year. If the players get removed from the school like a minor pro league the money will then just dry up. No one cares about minor league sports.
