4 years of this nonsense is about all fans can handle. If they aren’t going to
get a college degree, then move along to the professional ranks. Keep the 4-year maximum. These are college-sponsored teams after all.
Besides, if there isn’t a cap, mediocre athletes like Cam Rising who won’t make the major leagues will just hang around for the NIL money as long as possible, knowing it’s their best chance to make good money.
