Agreed. My self-propelled Honda has been working great for 30 years with only
an annual (sometimes bi-annual) tuneup and blade sharpening. Once, I had to have the throttle cable replaced but that is it as far as maintenance.

I tried a Ryobi a couple years ago and it sucked. It was a low/mid range one though. Now my gas one is starting to run

My last gas mower was a Honda. It sucked. Didn't last 4 years. The self propelled part stopped working
