greatness. He's been unable to win in the tournament, unable to get there every year, lost numerous games after having very large leads at the half, frequently was unable to adjust mid-game when the game plan wasn't working; now he's Mr. Everything. I did give him kudos for being a classy, high-octane personality; it's clear to me now that he is only high-octane.
The fact is BYU has materially upgraded from an "also ran" to a star. Other than Robinson, none of our team are likely to get NBA berths; they have been good as a team, but nobody stood out as a star. I love Kalifa but he was seldom a game changer. Hall is a good "quarterback" but lacks the ability and athleticism to be a consistent, big stage star. RS is one of my favorites but it's sort of like sending a Kamikaze pilot out on the floor. It's disappointing to see them go, but their leaving is a short-term inconvenience, not an irreplaceable loss.
