All they did was fight, complain, whine, cry, etc. I exhausted my time, money, and energy for a miserable experience.

My family has two autistic sons, one of whom has oppositional defiance. So that’s part of the complication.

I thought it’d be selfish to go on a vacation without the kids but we planned one this summer for just my wife and me and I don’t feel guilty about it at all. I’m super excited. Maybe this time I’ll cry tears of joy instead.
