loyalty and dissing people for leaving BYU basketball, then having seen some of these same posters go off on how all employers suck and you should only look out for yourself. "Your employer has no loyalty to you. Don't work hard, don't sacrifice anything, get away with whatever you can, because your employer will treat you the same. They will screw you as soon as it is opportunistic."
Well, Pope and the players are looking out for themselves. I know if I was offered my dream job and a whole bunch more money, I would change jobs in a heartbeat (not now but when I was younger). It is hard to criticize them for doing that. Also, there is every indication that Pope works his tail off and now, it appears as a result of those efforts, he is benefitting from it in a huge way.
I don't understand how people are fine screwing their own employer but are so upset about Pope and his players doing the same. People constantly preaching, "no loyalty" in their business relationships seem to be losing their minds over people doing exactly that.
