Had to use one for the youth fundraiser. Found out I am down to 3. They still
have my Provo address from 15 years ago.
Various things I've used a check for in the past 5 years
-Youth Fundraiser (Couldn't be done online as money online gets sent to Salt Lake)
-Down payment on a car
-Earnest Money on a house (This one was fun as I then had to write a letter to the underwriters to explain why the address on my checks was different than the address on my license. I wrote two sentences about how I got them in college and no one uses checks anymore.)
Tithing used to be the last thing I used them for, but since that has gone online there is no need for that. Still occasionally use one though.
