For me, it's why I can't cheer for players once they leave BYU

If Chandler and Saunders both end up at Kentucky but end up getting Trey Stewart and Townsend Tripple roles for the Wildcats, Pope will have a much tougher time selling the next batch of players that he really is their guy.

But if these guys go and get success and their money and he gets them to the NBA somehow - yikes!

Pope couldn't even get all the best LDS talent to come to BYU.

Jabari Parker went to Duke. I don't believe he had an LDS coach there.

Not the point. High 4 or 5 star LDS recruits are rare and Jabari was one of them

He's at UK. He's not gonna be recruiting in Utah unless it's a very exceptional recruit. I'd be much more concerned
