BYU's defense will be very good, which will keep them in a lot of games. Unfortunately, the offense won't be good enough to put up the points needed to win a lot of games. So, I predict BYU will lose quite a few close games.

---SOUTHERN ILLINOIS--BYU will win this game. If it's close or if BYU were to lose, the season will be a disaster. Season Record = 1-0

---@SMU--I see this one as a tossup. SMU recently promoted to the ACC, they've got a new, high-powered coach. First road game. I'm hopeful BYU can pull out a win but I don't have a lot of confidence. Season Record = 2-0

---@WYOMING--Why the heck is BYU playing Wyoming on the road. Don't they realize they're in a P4 conference and should never play teams like Wyoming on the road? I see this as a dangerous game. Wyoming will see this as a bowl game or playoff game and will be ready for the Cougars. However, I see BYU getting out of Laramie with a close win. Season Record = 3-0

---KANSAS STATE--A good B12 team. I see this one as a very close game. I give a very slight edge to BYU simply because the game's at home and at altitude. Season Record = 4-0

---@BAYLOR--This will be a loss. It won't be a blowout because the BYU defense will play well, but Baylor wins this one by 10+ points. Season Record = 4-1

---ARIZONA--The Wildcats have made big strides the past few years. I don't see BYU being able to keep pace with them offensively. BYU loss. Season Record = 4-2

---OKLAHOMA STATE--The game is in Provo so BYU has a chance. The Cougars put up a fight in the first half and fade after halftime. Season Record = 4-3

---@UCF--BYU should be able to win this game, but I'm not real confident about they'll play on the road in Florida. I see this as a very close game that could go either way. Because it's on the road I see UCF winning. Season Record = 4-4

---@UTAH--Rivalry game. BYU usually keeps things close against Utah, but I don't feel good about this one. This may be the most lopsided loss of the season for BYU. Season Record = 4-5

---KANSAS--Unlike years ago, Kansas is now a good team. Playing a good B12 team, even at LES, I see a BYU loss, and BYU now on a 6-game losing streak. Season Record = 4-6

---@ASU--The Sun Devils weren't very good last year. But they did show up in a few games and surprise some people. I believe ASU will be much improved this year. But BYU will be fighting to keep their bowl hopes alive. I see a surprising showing for BYU in Tempe, resulting in a BYU victory. Season Record = 5-6

---HOUSTON--Everything on the line in this game for BYU. They need a win to be bowl eligible. Frankly, they may need a victory to save Sitake's job. Houston is not that great. If they lose, maybe it's time for a change. But I think BYU pulls out a victory, gets to 6-6 and a bowl game, and Sitake lives to see another season. Season Record = 6-6

--BOWL GAME--This game is really irrelevant other than the fact that they qualified to play in it. A win or loss here won't change anything for Sitake or BYU. They continue forward either way as a mediocre B12 football team.
