Ceiling: Wally Szczerbiak

When you first watch some Kozlowski footage the comparisons to Zac Seljaas or Dalton Nixon can seem obvious, but I just did a deeper dive on his Hudl and other sites and I realized that I don’t think I’ve given Koz enough credit as a high ceiling prospect.

This kid can really, really shoot it. To give you an idea:

The final 10 games of his senior year (including in the state playoffs) he went on an absolute tear, hitting 36 triples at a ridiculous 53% clip. Totally nuts. This kid can flat out SHOOT. And he has a natural, quick release.

As I watched more of his Hudl I realized something…. this kid has the same size, frame, and quick trigger shooting prowess as a young Wally Szczerbiak. Koz’s full potential is very high as a lethal shooting, physical, 3-4 that will make opposing defenses absolutely pay from deep. He's probably a more natural 4 but I do think he can play some 3 depending on matchups and scheme. See for yourself, kid can SHOOT:
