I can’t shake the feeling Cooper Lewis is going to be a very good college player
I’m not sure what is going on with his recruiting- maybe he has more options than is publicly available, idk.

IMO he is a guy that will be a very good player in college. It may take a year or two of development but I think he has the potential to be a legitimate starting guard on a team like BYU or similar by the time he is an upperclassmen.

His ability to shoot lights out off the bounce from anywhere on the court will serve him very well in college.

I have no connection to the Lewis family or Lehi. I live out of state. I just think he’s really good from the few games I watched and his highlights. The state championship game it was clear he was the best player on the court.

There may be some defensive limitations there. Offensively he brings value right away.

I am someone that believes BYU needs to act like a B12 team and only recruit B12 level players. IMO Lewis will prove to be a B12 caliber player even if it takes a year or two and even if he has some initial limitations defensively.

I’m not faulting BYU for not recruiting him - BYU landed Bahr who I am also high on.

Prediction: he goes to a school like Utah St and lights it up. BYU ends up targeting him after a year or two as a transfer.
