You may be right, church is super secret around salaries

It was an interesting point in the article. It really could be that BYU is paying him around 2.5-3mm per year, but coaches circle and donors are paying the other 1.5-2mm per year. Maybe the church feels embarrassed by the amount of money it takes to bring in a good basketball coach and don't want that disclosed. I wouldn't be surprised by that.
