It's funny how players follow coaches.
When Pope joined BYU, he brought a bunch of his UVU kids and it turned out pretty well for us.
But I think without that change, if BYU suddenly just recruited 3 or 4 UVU guys, people would be skeptical.
Similarly, without Pope, if Kentucky just suddenly added 3 or 4 guys from a BYU team that, um, hasn't exactly enjoyed the kind of success in the NCAA tournament Kentucky fans expect, I think their fans would be pretty luke warm to the idea of a bunch of BYU guys leading them back to the glory days.
That's the new world of college sports, so just an observation. I'm sure Kentucky people will be patient and forgiving if it doesn't work out.
