These are good points, it makes me think there is so much more to the decision
-Richie has always been a BYU fan, comes from a family full of BYU fans
-Pope did not seem to value Richie as highly as some/many of us fans based on the minutes he played, and to me it felt like he was on a shorter leash to operate on offense than others
The easy answer is that his decision is about the money. And I would be shocked if that isn’t a big part of it.
But I think there is so much more that I as a fan probably don’t realize, consider, or even am aware that exists.
