also, but it would be VERY UNLIKELY to mean less.
Then again, if I had an opportunity to potentially make millions for a 1 year investment, would I??? H-E-Double-CK yeah, I would!
These poor players are getting bad advice. Jaxson's a great player, and could potentially be an NBA star, IMO, given the right investment, but he just won't get the investment from an organization over players taken above him in the draft. They look stupid if they do that, and they seldom do, unless the player (with outrageously outstanding play in brief stints), or injuries to other players somehow force them to do so.
Just look at Zach Wilson, he wouldn't have been taken high in the draft had he come out just 1 year before. Then, with a high draft investment, got 33 starts, even though the product on the field was frequently not really that great. Now, I think Zach is better than that, and I'm stoked to see if he can prove that in Denver. But the point is, Zach wouldn't have even sniffed 33 starts if he were taken 2 or more rounds later in the draft.
Sad, really. I wish JR all the best, but I see a lot of non-English speaking fans in his future - hope he proves me absolutely wrong, but it happens over, and over, and over again.
