Jaxon Robinson and the NBA
I agree with those who say that Robinson will have a real challenge leaving now for the NBA.

He clearly has the talent, but hasn't had nearly enough developmental preparation - a longer, consistent run at a high level of performance in the college setting.

So let's say he's drafted late in the second round and happens to get some early money - which is almost irresistible to many young college players. Then, if he's released and moved around from team to team, before you know it he's overseas.

Why not stay and develop another year, and get a much higher placement in the draft? The NBA spends a lot of time and money developing their high draft picks to get over the final prep to enter the league.

I believe if Erik Mika had stayed for one or two more years he would have been drafted high and made it to the NBA.
