about trying to keep as much of this past year's squad together as he could. I took that to mean that he was confident in his ability to develop players with the kind of raw athleticism AAA has into bonafide talent. That maybe he could do for AAA, Waterman, Stewart and others who stick around, what the past staff could not.
But also, if there's better talent available to work with upfront that you can get into the program and allow you to be more competitive up front, it makes sense to want to make room for that. And of course, KY is known to be a straight up honest guy, so if KY saw a ceiling for AAA, or that one last year wouldn't be enough to get him to be an NBA prospect and thus would not see any increased role next year, and told AAA that, it would make sense why AAA would want to spend his senior season somewhere he could have a bigger role.
