Richie would appear to purely be a stop-gap fill-in for Pope. There is no way he recruits a guy coming in new to the
program with Richie's initial ranking and profile. He is being set up to be Uber-bummed as the more highly rated guys start to show their ability with Richie playing less and less minutes over time to the point of becoming irrelevant. Connor Harding is an example of this concept..
