Obsidian did New Vegas for Bethesda, using the Fallout 3 engine.
They got roundly criticized at release because of the bugs in the game, but New Vegas has the best storyline of the modern Fallout games.
(and I say this as someone who was riding DC Metro when 3 came out- the posters were awesome)
