He came in as a freshman and played well. When you have the chance to add
quality depth at that position you do it.
Right now the QB scholarship situation looks like:
Retzlaff
Bohannon
Hillstead
Burton
Fennegan
Lugo
Carrying six scholarship QBs isn’t that big a deal. I’m guessing somebody on that list will end up not being on the Fall camp roster and the coaches know it. They also know they don’t have a sure thing yet at that position so why not add another guy who could make the room better?
