…to get into the top 4 or 5 spots in the Big12 again (barring opposing teams having insane luck in the portal). We have several guys still trending up in their development and even though we lose a lot with AK, SJ and Jaxson all leaving, bringing back the rest of the team and seeing them continue to progress will help offset that. Also adding youngbloods Davis and Koz will bear some fruit as well.

If we’re successful in the portal and get some good pieces there, we could challenge for a double bye in the Big12 tourney. We need a guard who can bring a pit bullish on-ball defensive mindset, we need more guys who can score off the bounce and getting a good rim protector would be huge. We weren’t very tough last season and that was a way teams found they could have success against us so each of the new guys in the portal need to be dawgs. We need to be able to give as good as we get this next season.
