The BYU "networking" advantage - is it really better than other mid to top-tier
programs? We hear here on CB, and it's said frequently on BYUSN (JT mentioned it multiple times yesterday) and other programs, that the relationships that players can forge with BYU alumni will uniquely set them up for long-term success. I'm honestly curious how this is different or better than alumni relationships and connections at other programs? Is there a different level of engagement with BYU alumni that doesn't exist elsewhere? Is it the Church connection that makes business owners / execs more willing to invest time with former players? Or is this an unfounded assumption that there's really something different? Just trying to understand what is unique.
