for now NIL is fan-based. Until that changes, Gonzaga in a mid-major conference
can have just as good of NIL as a P5 team has. Depending on how wealthy their fans are.
If the standards change so that the universities can start paying the players with the TV contract money, then being in the P4 conference will be a big financial advantage over any mid-major team.
