The burning sensation precedes the eruptions, then remains afterwards. The
Longer the virus replicates, the more damage can be done to nerve tissue. I can tell almost immediately when it is going to start. It usually starts with what feels like a pulled muscle. I have one spot on my trunk that still tingles from time to time even after about 10 years, but is much better than used to be.

An attack almost always happens on just one side of the body because only the nerve bundle on one side is impacted. If it is both sides of the body, it’s usually on the trunk and is coming from the same vertebrae.

Eating nuts that are high in arginine deplete lysine in the body. Lysine prevents replication of the virus. The virus is a retrovirus so once in the body is always there, waiting for an opportunity to replicate. Stress, nutritional deficiency, nerve weakness-such as is cause with mercury exposure, all provide opportunities for virus to emerge. (I’ve talked to many people whose outbreak occurred immediately after dental cleaning appointments and they had mercury fillings)

Most people have a diet and immune system function to prevent outbreaks. Many foods have lysine, but it is very easy to supplement.

Oh. And l-lysine powder liquid swished and then swallowed is great for canker sores.
