During training they were my everyday shoes when I wasn't in the camo uniform (or rather, when we were in the physical training uniform). When I got home, I used them for just running rather than everyday shoes. They lasted a long time, many years, until I started to develop a blister every time I would run more than a mile. I replaced them with Altras (I was debating between Brooks and those, ended up going with the other). Maybe I should just have the Brooks be my everyday shoes (if I plan to run more than a mile, I wear my designated running shoes).
