I'm considering replacing my boring family sedan with a higher tech but still boring Tesla Y model. My only reservation is whether I can do the mildly less gentle tasks I'm accustomed to doing for small household projects, for example:
- bring 8' 2x4s and other small dimensional boards home from Home Depot
- take a small load of trash to the dump
- haul 300 pounds of sand or gravel shoveled into bins in the trunk
- rattle over gravel roads in the mountains to get to my favorite fishing spot
I have no reason to believe the cute little car can't do it but have never seen it done in the wild or in a Tesla commercial.
Have you ever used yours for mildly redneck purposes?
