Did Dave even coach him? He's been gone from WA for awhile. I think Dave would be a worthy assistant, but
in this case it might be more due to Pope leaving from that standpoint. And of course an NBA developmental guy entering the picture. And maybe Pop's maturing a little bit. St. John's and Creighton are also religious schools after all on the surface at least. That's his top 3. Then of course stuff like NIL is always in play.
