Back. As you said, he knows the guys, he knows he'll have a very prominent role on the team, and KY can develop and highlight his skills for NBA consideration.
Unless Pope really struggles to recruit talent to UK, I think the UK opportunity would be more of an unknown. Where will he play, what kind of minutes will he get, etc.
