And then the biggest thing in my opinion: what else is there to do in Nebraska? Not a dig at all, there just is not as much competing entertainment. Therefore people love sports.

It’s the same reason why Iowa St football sells out all its game and has 60k fans every Saturday despite having an awful football program until recently (before 2019). There is not much else to do out there
