I get it — one game is a small sample size and he was an underclasman without much experience but his one and only showing was atrocious. He looked out of position and like he lacked the physical tools to succeed.
We watched a freshman with no experience step in at USC and just dominate in his first game. We’ve seen plenty of other instances where underclassman come in and look somewhere between competent and really good so excusing Brown’s one game is being extremely generous to him — he really was that bad.
