Recruiting at BYU is freaking TOUGH. But at least we got successive HC's who've committed themselves to swinging for the fences outside our recruiting base — really, for the first time at BYU for bball.

Imagine where we'd be if we had staffs doing that to the same degree 25-30 years ago & onward? (Yeah, I know Cleve did it a bit, but he wasn't nearly as bold or thorough in his searches as Pope. And the one time his staff dug deep & tried to target a high-grade, late-available recruit - lo & behold - they landed themselves a real winner & a great fit in KT Young!)
