As long as you know the steps, prep (a lot) & have good equipment, should be fin
Auto body painting is mostly prep: sanding, leveling, grease removal, and masking. The actual spraying is not that difficult. Proper equipment is a must though. You don’t have to have own the most expensive gun just something adequate.

Like others have said, color matching can be tricky especially with the age and sun fading effects of the other areas. You could color match to the factory color but still not have the panel match due to sun fading or the clear coat.

If you are unsure about performing any of the individual steps, I would recommend letting an expert do it. Otherwise, you just have to be OK with the possibility of the panels not matching exactly.
