That’s exactly what I do. I claim a high exemption value (which leaves me paying
$0 based on their calculation) and the. Tell them to take an extra fixed amount per paycheck. All this is on the W4
I find this far better better for me with tithing, mortgage, etc not fitting their calculation very well.
