The cyber truck was better, but the “virtual” center diff is a huge liability, you can see the center slipping with different wheel speeds a few times on the climb, a big no no when you want all axles locked.
And lowering the PSI to 30?? Really? That’s because of the dumb 20” rims, so you are traction limited by the weight of the rig and poor wheel choice before you even select your off road mode.
All in all, and it’s tough to judge because it’s a video, it’s probably a 3 rated climb maybe an easy 4, something a stock SR5 Tacoma could do with ATRAC and no diff locks.
It’s the best we have with EV off roaders at the moment, but I’m hoping one day Jeep or Toyota would give us a proper EV off roader and we could see what it could do.
I wonder how the Hummer EV would do?
