Clockwise turned out to be a bad decision as we ended up fighting the wind for nearly the entire first day. We did 63 miles the first day and then finished the last 37 miles up Mineral Bottom. We finished uphill because part of our group didn't want to do the whole thing so they stopped at the bottom of the switchbacks. There was some rain Saturday morning so the road ended up being really muddy.

Awesome experience though.
