Haha that's a funny coincidence. I am familiar with VA loans but it so happens
that the state we're most interested in buying a home is in Virginia.
I think there are a way to buy homes with VA loans that are "assumable." I'm pretty sure I would qualify for those, but I think they're hard to find.

Yeah if I had access to a VA loan I would have bought asap. 0 down and no PMI? Seems like a no brainer
