That’s actually false. The average pace of nba offenses during stock’s career
was 95.26. During Levron’s first 19 years it was 94.24.
People forget how fast the nba was in the 80’s and how slow it was through most of the 2000’s. Pace was in the low 90s through most of the 2000’s. It didn’t exceed 95 possessions per game until the 2017 season.
