I suspect many truckers stopped flashing warnings due to citations for
"interfering in law enforcement activities." Although a court rejected that argument in 2013, it had a chilling effect.
I drove to/from California on I-15 last week, and it's comical how the entire pack of cars will all slow down at the same time when their mapping app warns them of a potential speed trap.
