2 players I hope BYU targets in the transfer portal. Max Shulga and Braxton Meah
Both of these guys are 5th year seniors that are elite in the pick and roll and fill positions of need.
Max would be back up PG and SG. He averages 1.14 PPP as the ball handler in the pick and roll. That's in the 93rd percentile in the nation. He's also shot 41% from the 3 and can space the floor.
Braxton Meah is a 7'1" center out of Washington. His stats have been underwhelming at Washington, but it's because he had an ankle injury last year and wasn't being utilized correctly. He averages 1.69 PPP as the screnner in pick and rolls. That's 97th percentile in the nation. He sets great screens and knows how to roll well. He's also a great shot blocker and can anchor our defense.
Both of these guys would fit in the "NBA offense" KY is trying to build. I don't know if Shulga would go for a back up/SG roll on a team. Meah would likely be a back up center and IDK if he would want that. I also don't know if BYU has reached out to either of them, but they'd both do well in KY's system.
