We were both fairly athletic but we have zero expectation on what the future holds. If we join a club soccer team and my daughter hates it and just wants to go back to rec leagues or just quit all together, I would be ok with it.
I will add that my daughter loves it right now and practices a lot on her own without me even saying anything. So as as long she keeps loving it, we will keep supporting her.
