Would love to keep him but I only want players who are loyal to BYU and feel a
connection to the school. If he’d prefer somewhere else for whatever reason, I wish him the best in his career.
I don’t see how Pope and a completely rebuilding Kentucky team is going to give him the kind of NBA development he needs, but if he feels that is a better fit for him, I respect that and wish him well.
