Unfortunately the stats don't begin to explain Jax's role-value in the post he's referencing.
I never tried to argue that Jax's game was beyond reproach.
And if Jax were one of our designated rebounders, I'd be more concerned about those stats. Truth was (so far as I could tell), SJ generally stayed back to help on boards — probably less because of his excellence at fighting for rebounds (as good as he was) — & more for (1) his ability to find the hot guy in transition, & (2) his lack of footspeed & ability to finish strong in transition.
