...it was a popular rant by many CB'ers that Pope wasn't a good recruiter. He's picked up some nice players in the portal and currently has the #3 rated class in the portal. So far it doesn't look like its a problem for Pope at his new job. Kinda jealous of some of the players he's grabbed, two of the best centers in the portal (Williams and Garrison), one of the best shooters in the portal (Brea), and two veteran PG's (Butler and Kriisa) not to mention swiping our highest rated HS recruit ever.
