at reaching the Final Four or better than football does at winning a conference championship and making a splash in the CFP.
That may be because it costs a lot less in staffing salaries and NIL to put together a basketball contender than it does a football contender. So, I think it's safe to say now that BYU really is content on prioritizing basketball and thus becoming much more of a basketball school than football school.
Wish both programs could be national powers but one is better than none. Perhaps at some point in time, football will catch up.
