If his focus is getting paid, it seems this may be his big contract year with alleged NIL deals around $1 million. From there he can try next year to make an NBA roster or got to Europe.

If his priority is the NBA, I could see him trying to take advantage of what is supposed to be a weak draft in hopes of being picked up by an NBA team. It seems that two-way NBA contracts are worth less than the NIL deals being floated around (roughly $500k max per a quick Google search) but this may be the best option if his big goal is making the NBA.
