The northern US route 94 across our country
Let’s you see many changes in topography and everyday USA towns and cities.

Montana has some of the most varied terrain with sparse scattering of towns, few cities.

North Dakota has a plans state terrain with several sprawling, anywhere USA towns, such as Dickinson, Bismarck and Fargo.

Minnesota across both 94 and 90 is rather monotonous until you drive on the outskirts of MSP. Then it is just a traffic jam at the wrong hours.

Wisconsin has a lot of rolling farmlands until you reach Madison and Milwaukee. From there you just see how fast you can avoid Chicago traffic.

After that you cross cross Indiana which is boring as hades with the same observation for Ohio.

Erie PA, if you stop by has improved substantially and southern NY is not much to speak of, especially in the late night/early morning hours.

4 days and 12 states. Lots of highway but once you get past Wisconsin, one can see why you drive by Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.

The weather in Minnesota, and Wisconsin was cool whereas by Indiana it warmed up a lot.
