But you're told to accept this person as the beat writer for your school athletics because he's "such a great writer" and has such an "objective eye."

That's how dumb this assignment of Jay Drew as BYU's beat writer is and how blind the D News is.

Ohio State, North Carolina, USC, etc. fans wouldn't stand for that. Why are we supposed to?
