Basketball is not the same as Football and comparing them is just flat dumb. The money gap makes a much larger difference in football and being able to compete. We have years of ground to make up and expecting BYU to just flat dominate in football is crazy. Utes went 5-7 in year one in the pac-12 and got blown out by ASU. and a couple of other ugly losses but not blowouts. Granted They were on an upward trajectory, it's still a little early for all the sky is falling folks out there.

On top of that Basketball rosters only manage 13 players. BYU had 120 kids on roster last year
